FDR Mediation|Preparation for Mediation|General Mediation|Relationship Property Mediation

Anne is an Auckland based mediator, facilitator, communication and wellbeing coach. She supports people to bring harmony into their family life, personal life and workplace through mediation, conflict resolution and lifestyle/wellbeing consultancy.

Anne is an Associate member of the New Zealand Law Society (Family Law section), an Associate member of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ) and an accredited Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Provider.

With 13 years legal experience, 8 years mediation experience and 27 years therapeutic experience Anne brings a depth of understanding and care to her work as a mediator and facilitator. In 2024 Anne will also be qualified as a counsellor and will commence her counselling practice in early 2024.

Anne previously practised as a Lawyer, and completed her mediation training with LEADR (now the Resolution Institute) whilst practising law. Anne then re-trained as a fitness instructor, yoga teacher and lifestyle/wellbeing coach. Wishing to combine all these skills and experience, and with the understanding that mediation, through its provision of lasting solutions/answers to conflict between people, without recourse to the lengthy, expensive and stressful Court process, is the future of law, Anne trained as an FDR mediator with LEADR and was accredited as an FDR Provider with AMINZ in 2015, commencing her mediation practice in early 2016.  She has also completed Collaborative Law training, in March 2021.

Anne’s mediation experience to date includes FDR, relationship property, separation and communication. She has supported people from many different cultures (Māori, Samoan, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Tongan, Israeli, Middle Eastern) and religions (Christian, Jewish, Muslim), as well as gender identity and gay cases.

Anne has contributed to the community through voluntary roles in the Citizens Advice Bureau (she ran a fortnightly Family Disputes Clinic in Pakuranga for several years), prison (she presented meditation programmes for many years at the Mt Eden Corrections Facility, and will continue this work in another prison this year), education (assisting children to read), yoga (Committee work) and sports (Committee work).

Anne provides in person or online (via the Zoom platform) mediations/dispute resolution services.
