Barbara Greene

Voice of the Child | Counselling

Barbara works with individuals and families to support them in having awareness of the factors that are influencing their lives so that people can open up their choices and create change, or increase acceptance around what cannot be changed. She creates a warm and safe environment for people to feel comfortable to explore what is most important for them. She draws on a variety of counselling and coaching modalities within a Person Centered foundation.

As a well experienced Voice of the Child Specialist she is able to draw out the views of children whilst helping them understand that they are not responsible for adult issues. Children generally find it easy to open up with Barbara and feel empowered to have her represent their views and wishes. In the mediation setting Barbara is able to speak compassionately to the parents in the process of advocating for their children.
