Kirsty has been a lawyer for over 30 years, specialising in Family Law since 2004. After regularly using mediation to achieve resolution of clients’ disputes in a wide variety of fields, Kirsty trained as a mediator have been mediating since 2009. She trained and experienced in Collaborative Separation, a process designed for parties to resolve their disputes without using Court proceedings. Kirsty is also available as an arbitrator.
Kirsty regularly undertake appointments as lawyer for child for the Family Court as well as Hague Convention appointments and appointments as lawyer for subject person in PPPR matters.
She is currently chair of the Family Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society (2017-
