FDR Mediation

Lucy is an accredited mediator specialising as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner working in the Auckland region including Waiheke and remotely through video conference. 

Lucy has spent over a decade supporting families experiencing parenting challenges in both New Zealand and Australia across a range of family services. Since 2016 she has been combining this knowledge, empathy, and counselling skills working as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP). 

As a practitioner Lucy is child focused, supporting families to tap into their own skills and resources and learn new skills and strategies to create practical and appropriate parenting solutions. 

Lucy is passionate about providing families the opportunity to attend FDR and the opportunity to resolve conflict in a less stressful way, enabling better outcomes for children, parents and families. She has extensive experience working with CALD and LGBTIQ+ families. 

As well as providing Family Dispute Resolution, Lucy has experience as group facilitator, mentor, and is a qualified mediation trainer and assessor.
