Phillippa is a qualified Resolution Institute mediator, assessor, facilitator and trainer, employee assistance programme clinician, counsellor, business mentor, certified communications coach and human resources consultant.

Her strengths are a depth of compassion, clear communication skills and a dedicated focus that she brings to every aspect of her work.

For over 25 years, Phillippa has worked with hundreds of clients, delivering results when people are in great distress. Clients, both personal and corporate, have embraced her abilities and her calming, practical manner, while being ably assisted through emotional turmoil to find the best possible outcomes.

Based in Christchurch, Phillippa has worked both nationally and internationally, in training design and delivery, developing performance, and behavioural workplace interventions with Elliott Consultancy and Instep Limited.

Over 20 years as a certified Business Mentor with Business Mentors New Zealand, Phillippa has mentored more than 100 diverse businesses and organisations.

Her mediation experience has been in employment, mediated exits, and in training, understanding and resolving conflict in the workplace, as well as conflict and relationship disputes (personal and workplace) in counselling. Phillippa has been in the Family Dispute Resolution mediation field since this procedure was introduced in 2014.

Phillippa has excellent communication skills, and can handle a wide range of clients and requirements. She fully understands the human dynamic, and complex difficulties that arise when alcohol and drug use inflames a situation, or inhibits former attempts at a lasting solution.

Her skill set enables her to unbundle complex situations and to explain and reframe them simply to all parties.

During her 20 years in Employee Assistance counselling, Phillippa has worked in the areas of critical interventions (workplace victim support), anxiety, depression, stress, conflict, bullying, harassment, grief and loss, specialist drug and alcohol assessments, rehabilitation counselling, health provider referrals, workplace policy formation and training implementation.
