Please note that you or your partner may qualify for full funding. At this time, FDR Centre is not authorised to accept and process applications where the parties wish to obtain full funding.
Full funding for FDR mediation is available for people on low incomes. Eligibility is based on the applicant's number of dependents and income over the past year (before tax and any deductions such as student loan repayments, KiwiSaver contributions, or ACC levies). If the applicant's income has changed in recent months, they can use their income over the past three months. An applicant who has qualified in the past year for family or civil legal aid is also eligible.
To check whether you are eligible, please see the Ministry of Justice website.
If you are ready to proceed with partially funded FDR mediation with the FDR Centre, the first step in the process is to make an online application where you will also be asked to pay the fee for the pre-mediation sessions. That fee is $448.50 and is non-refundable. To apply now, please simply complete our online application form.
If you have already completed an application but did not make payment at the time of applying, you will need to make payment of the $448.50 fee for the pre-mediation sessions before your application is processed and you can do so from this page.
*please note: Credit Card payments are subject to an additional 2.75% processing fee.
